6        PHARMACEUTICAL PARTICULARS

6.1      List of excipients
Dilute Hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide for adjustment to pH 4.

Water for injection.

6.2      Incompatibilities
Labetalol must not be mixed with sodium bicarbonate solution for injection.

6.3      Shelf life

The expiry date of the product is indicated on the packaging materials.
Shelf life after opening: 24 hours after preparation.
Unused solution should be discarded 24 hours after preparation.

6.4      Special precautions for storage

Store below 30ºC. Protect from light.
6.5      Nature and contents of container

Pack of 5x20 ml (clear type I glass ampoules).
6.6      Special precautions for disposal and other handling

No special requirements.
