4.3 Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. Diprofol 1% contains soybean oil and should not be used in patients who are hypersensitive to peanut or soya. Diprofol 1% must not be used in patients of 16 years of age or younger for sedation in intensive care (see section 4.4).
