4.3. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. Carbon Dioxide is contra-indicated: • in acidosis • in respiratory obstruction, the administration of Carbon Dioxide may be dangerous since any further increase in respiratory effort increases negative intra-thoracic pressure • during resuscitation, where it can be dangerous and should be avoided
