6. PHARMACEUTICAL PARTICULARS

6.1 List of excipients
Vermox Tablets
 microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, talc, maize starch, sodium saccharin, magnesium stearate, Cottonseed oil hydrogenated, orange flavor, colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium lauryl sulphate, orange yellow S (E110), purified water (does not appear in final product), Isopropyl alcohol (does not appear in final product).
Vermox Suspension microcrystalline cellulose & carboxymethylcellulose sodium, methylcellulose 15 mPa.s, sucrose, sodium lauryl sulphate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, banana flavor 1, citric acidmonohydrate and purified water.
Each 5ml suspension contains 500mg of sucrose.

6.2 Shelf life

The expiry date of the product is indicated on the packaging materials Vermox suspension:
Shelf life after first opening: 28 days


6.3 Special precautions for storage
Vermox Tablets:
Do not store above 25°C
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Vermox Suspension:

Do not store above 25°C

Shake well before use.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

6.4 Nature and contents of container

Vermox Tablets
Blister strips of PVC genotherm glass clear aluminium foil coated on the inside with a heat seal lacquer.
Pack sizes: 1 and 6 tablet packs.
Vermox Suspension

Amber glass flask containing 30 ml suspension, with child-resistant polypropylene screw cap, lined inside with a LDPE insert.

A 5 ml natural polypropylene (food-grade) dosing cup is also provided, graduated for 2.5 ml and 5 ml.

Directions for opening the bottle

The bottle comes with a child-proof cap, and should be opened as follows:

Push the plastic screw cap down, while turning it counterclockwise.
Directions for using the measuring cup
Use the measuring cup just as it sits on the bottle.
Make sure that the side with the graduation (the side that holds less) is uppermost; that is the side you have to fill. When the arrow on the side points up, the correct side is uppermost. Fill the dosing cup until the
5 mL line is reached.
