6. PHARMACEUTICAL PARTICULARS 6.1 List of excipients Tablet core: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycollate, magnesium stearate, docusate sodium. Coating: Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, titanium dioxide, talc, red ferric oxide E172, yellow ferric oxide E172. 6.2 Incompatibilities Not applicable. 6.3 Shelf life The expiry date of the product is indicated on the packaging materials. 6.4 Special precautions for storage Do not store above 30°C. Store in original package. 6.5 Nature and contents of container Aluminium blisters in packs containing 7, 10, 28, 30 or 98 tablets. Not all pack sizes may be marketed. 6.6 Special precautions for disposal and other handling Crushed or broken tablets of ‘Propecia’ should not be handled by women when they are or may potentially be pregnant (see 4.6 ‘Pregnancy and lactation’). Any unused medicinal product or waste material should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements.
