Pharmacodynamic Properties
5.1. Pharmacodynamic properties Pharmacotherapeutic group: SKIN PROTECTOR, code ATC: D03AX12 (D. Dermatology). Mechanism of action Trolamine, together with fatty acids like stearic acid, acts as an emulsifier. After being applied to the skin, it develops occlusive and moisturising properties, increases the induction of macrophages in the wound, promotes healing in the dermis and the formation of granulation tissue.

5.2. Pharmacokinetic properties The effects of this medicine are limited to the superficial layers of the epidermis and promote hydration. No systemic effect is expected.
